I recently stayed at the Rex Hotel in Beppu for a few nights and had an amazing experience. The room design was lovely and I had a breathtaking ocean view from my window. The open-air pool on the top floor with hot water and ocean view was the perfect place to relax. The hotel also had plenty of parking spots available. Everything was spotlessly clean and they even provided complimentary bottled water in the minibar. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I loved the authentic Japanese touch of taking off our shoes at the front door.
I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is gorgeous and clean, has magic views of the beach. The rooms are huge and new-fashioned, have clean bathroom. The beds are large and the staff is polite. The venue offers cozy location next to Beppu, the restaurant, and the downtown. The place to order lunch around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel is Ribbon Ishigaki...

Our romantic escape at this hotel was simply amazing! First of all, the ocean view from our room was breathtaking. We could see the clear blue waters and the scenic beach from our balcony, which made us feel relaxed and closer to nature. the hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided us with excellent service and were always ready to assist us with any questions we had. We also loved that the hotel had a private onsen that we could enjoy together. The natural hot springs helped us unwind and rejuvenate our bodies.
We were a bit taken aback by the shoe-free policy at the hotel, which we were not informed about beforehand. Although it was a unique experience, we found it slightly inconvenient to walk around the hotel barefoot.

The hotel is located right on the beach, which meant that we had amazing views of the ocean from our room and balcony. the infinity pool, located on the 8th floor, was definitely the highlight of our stay. We loved that it was available to everyone, and it made for a perfect spot to relax and take in the breathtaking views.
One thing that was a bit frustrating was the language barrier. the staff spoke very little English, which made communication difficult at times.

The family-friendly room at REX HOTEL Beppu was just perfect for my stay. The bedding could easily accommodate up to 4 people, making it ideal for families or groups. And the best part? The room had an oceanfront desk! It was so relaxing to wake up to the view of the ocean every morning. As someone who loves the beach, this was a dream come true.
I have to admit, there was one thing that I liked less about the room. The bathroom was on the smaller side.

The location, right by the beach and jogging track, was perfect. The hotel was clean, modern, and provided comfortable and spacious rooms. The lobby, with its wooden floor, felt cozy. I highly recommend this hotel.
